Comany – Structures Stress Team, located in Long Beach, California, is seeking an experienced Structural Analysis Engineer with adept knowledge of stress analysis methods, engineering principles, certification, and collaboration skills. This requisition is hiring for primary and secondary structures stress for airplane production & airplane post-production modifications.

Position Responsibilities:
• Performing detailed structural analysis to determine structural integrity (margins of safety), using classical techniques and Company tools. This analysis can support production, responses to customer inquiries, service bulletin development, failure investigation, regulatory agency coordination and show compliance to regulatory requirements.
• Providing guidance on structural design and configuration development.
• Create trade studies to optimize the structure and meet program requirements.
• Work with the team to integrate component-level structural models and perform integrated analysis, using finite element methods, to develop internal loads and stresses in order to verify structural integrity with minimal instruction.
• Document structural analyses and data required to show compliance with Company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in the resolution of technical, operational, and quality issues that cannot be resolved by the customer (internal and external).
