Position Description

100% onsite in Fort Walton, Fl

Interprets and analyzes engineering data, reliability and maintainability data, supply chain data, and customer operations and support concepts to develop support solutions and products including support analysis, provisioning solutions, spares solutions and maintenance, inspection, and support technical data. Provides recommendations on product supportability and establishes operation maintenance tasks and support resources. Develops support systems to achieve supportability requirements. Identifies and analyzes logistics support candidates from product definition and develops logistics support analysis records and reports. Determines spares provisioning requirements and establishes recommendation for spare and replacement parts, levels, and stocking. Writes and maintains technical documentation for operating, testing, inspecting and maintaining aircraft systems and/or components. Evaluates aircraft and/or fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability to establish maintenance concepts. Restriction: For level 1 and 2 only, in locations where SPEEA representation applies, this job family will be covered by the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.Leads development, analysis, collection, storing, and reviewing of system support technical data elements and specification and makes recommendations. Leads providing recommendations on product supportability and establishes operation maintenance tasks, resources, and support systems to achieve supportability requirements for all equipment subsystems and multiple platforms. Identifies, analyzes, and reviews logistics support candidates from product definition and develops logistics support analysis records and report. Completes spares provisioning requirements analysis of spare and replacement parts, levels, and stocking for multiple customers under multiple contract types. Leads technical documentation preparation for operating, testing, and maintaining aircraft systems/ components. Reviews and leads evaluation of aircraft and/or fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability and provides recommendations for a single or multiple airline customers, single or multiple aircraft model and system specialties.

Day to day:
Develops multiple publication elements for all levels of maintenance for a fielded equipment minor system or multiple sub systems. Collects, researches and analyzes source data and validates source data based on predefined and developed assumptions.

Requirements

This is for developing/updating technical publications; however, we need a technically savvy individual with Hydro Mech specialized on platform maintenance background to develop the publications as the priority.

Must Haves:
1. Experience with military aviation platform utilizing technical publications or technical publication development required
2. Hydro Mechanical Maintenance Experience on defense platform is required. Details: Specific Hydro Mechanical Experience with Egress, Engines, ECS, APG, Electrical, Fuel System, Hydraulic System, Landing Gear and/or General Vehicle Systems Familiarity preferred.
*EGRESS stands for (Emergency Global Rescue, Escape, and Survival System)*
3. Skills with Microsoft Office Suite required.

Desired:
4. Fighter platform experience. F-15 preferred fighter platform.
5. Experience analyzing engineering drawings and researching parts information.
6. Computer literacy/IT Software tool experience.

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.)
